Further information and pricing for schools and pre-schools

Sessions or workshops will ideally be  an absolute minimum of one hour in length wherever possible, with longer sessions than this certainly being preferable in most cases.

The maximum number of children / students per session or workshop is 35 if any animal handling is to be offered, with larger numbers able to be catered for if handling is not required and if sessions are to planned which make use of the video camera as described on the School Topics page.

I can obviously be very flexible with regard to session lengths to allow for the organisation of the school day in individual schools.  Workshops covering different topics can be combined in a full day booking, please ask for details.

Pricing structure

Single 1-hour workshop:  £100

Full morning in school: (e.g. three x 1-hour workshops):  £175 (N.B. I will not require a break between these sessions)

Full afternoon: (e.g. two x 1-hour workshops):  £150

Full day in school:  £275

If I am visiting your school for a full day I am more than happy to stay on for up to an hour at the end of the school day, free of charge, to enable members of staff to meet the wonderful animals more closely if they would like to! 

Alternatively I will be happy to discuss with you the possibility of inviting parents/carers in for a free after-school session, so that they have the opportunity to see what the children have experienced and been learning about during the day, please enquire if this is of interest. 

N.B. If travelling outside of the Swindon area fuel expenses will be charged at 40p/mile, and for bookings in locations beyond a 30 mile radius of Swindon there will be an additional charge of £20 per 30 miles travelled.
